Title progress

Title!! from jon tunnell on Vimeo.

I'm working on making a quick title for our project. We aren't set on the name yet, but I'm working on getting a feeling of the title being blown away.

Principles of animation

Bouncing cube from jon tunnell on Vimeo.

In this video I tired to show a couple principles of animation. The first is follow through. When the cube leaves the trampoline, the cloth doesn't just stop, it follows through and keeps moving. I also tried animating a shape key to squash the cube down at the bottom. This was my first time using shape keys and cloth, so a lot of my time was spent messing around with those and trying to figure them out.

Array animation

Array animation from jon tunnell on Vimeo.

Here is my array animation. It isn't all spinny and flying around all crazy like most array animations. I kind of wanted to try to do something different with with arrays. So I see it as a camera filming some strange organism and checking it out. When the camera gets too close, the plant gets scared and closes up. Then, as the camera backs away, it starts to come back out.
